About Us
What is Everybody’s Business?
Everybody’s Business is a youth-led website that raises awareness about female genital mutilation (FGM); provides regular comment about UK and global actions to end the practice and most importantly provides space for young people to add their voice to the FGM campaign.
Everybody’s Business was generously funded and supported by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Tackling FGM Initative (a colloboration of four funders: Rosa UK, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Trust for London and Comic Relief).
The information on this website - in particular regarding youth-led work on FGM was supplied to us by various FGM organisations and we are grateful to them for taking the time to support this project.
The blogs were written by passionate young people. We are very grateful for their time, energy and dedication. It is essential that young people’s voices are amplified and they feel that that they are able to engage on issues that affect them.
Want to be involved?
We also want to encourage you to contribute to our blog, discuss current news and tell us about the fantastic ways that you, as young people, are working to end FGM. If you would like to help end FGM, want to share your work or start a discussion on FGM please contact our Youth Moderator on: [email protected]
By acting together we can make ending FGM everybody’s business.
